Ski NH!
New Hampshire has 19 Alpine and 19 Nordic resorts, and is the home of some of North America's first official ski trails. It should come as no surprise that skiing is the official New Hampshire state sport. All of our properties are located within walking distance to a major ski resort.
New Hampshire Alpine skiing features breathtaking mountain views, beautiful lakes and valleys, meandering trails, steep pitches, and quaint ski villages. Special ski-school packages including season passes and clothing and equipment discounts, as well as lessons. Many areas offer kids' programs from one day to all season in length, featuring terrain parks, racing instruction, freestyle skiing and boarding, and gear rental; also women's programs including season-long weekly programs as well as day or week-long programs in both skiing and boarding.
New Hampshire offers world-class cross-country skiing for everyone, beginner to expert, children to seniors, couch potatoes to Olympic athletes; many areas offer instruction, coaching, day or weekend-long workshops; try-before-buy equipment programs; and even dog-friendly trails.
In March 2007, for the fourth time, the University of New Hampshire hosted the NCAA Men's and Women's Skiing Championships at Attitash and Jackson XC in the Mt. Washington Valley.
